  • re: Lateral Release story of July 9
I had the lateral release about 25 years ago. Now, I am having more trouble with the knee than before the surgery. Yes, it did wonders for me up until a couple of months ago, but I am wondering if it was worth it after all. As I remember the surgery, pain was minimal in comparison to say....a replacement, and it healed in a month or so. I have no idea what I am in for now - the pain and the weakness is incredible. I have yet to visit an orthopedic about this problem (so far just my rheumatologist)
