<p>Did you know that the most serious injuries in skateboarding don't necessarily come from stunts?</p>
<p>Sure, there is always the risk that you'll break something if you land wrong, but most stunt skaters use kneepads and elbow pads to prevent injuries.</p>
<p>No, the greatest risk is when you're just skating around town and you fall at the wrong angle. Casual skaters often wipe out just hitting tricks the wrong way, and that's when you get the worst knee injuries--plus the ones that last the longest.</p>

I'm 12 years post op, but I remember that pain. I stretched out the percocet and vicodin for about 1 or 1.5 weeks I think. It prevented pain, but I couldn't poop for a week.  Maybe they can ...
