Did you know that milk could help fight knee osteoarthritis in women? A study found that women who drank low-fat or fat-free milk experienced a slower progression of the disease than those who ate cheese or drank full fat milk.
Interestingly enough, the findings ONLY applied to women.
Those who ate cheese experienced a faster progression of OA, while yoghurt had no effect on the osteoarthritis at all.
Pretty interesting stuff, right?
