I am almost 2 weeks out after surgery and i am having alot of probelms with the lateral release. i can not bend my knee at all, and i can barly walk on it with out almost falling over. i contacted the doctor after being seen in the ER one week after due to having a fever of 101. the er thought it was infected due to having a large amount of fluid in the upper area of the knee where they would have been at the tendon. the doctor said he doesnt think its infected, but knows i should have more motion then i do. there is still alot of swelling, and now my leg is starting to bruise where the lump is where the tendon is. it is also extremly warm and my lower leg is extremly cold. i go back to him on wednesday to get the stitches out, but i am very concerned that i cant walk or bend it. any one have any ideas???
