I had a TKR over 2 months ago. Due to the incision not healing until 3 days ago, I was not ALLOWED to do any bending past 90 degrees or it "split" my incision open again about 3 inches. When I saw the specialist last month, his comment when he saw my knee was "Oh ****". I found out then that when they "put the sides of my incision back together" they missed and it was like overlapped just along the edges of the incision.

Now my knee feels "locked" when I walk and is swollen and HARD "solid". I would be in pain but for another reason I get Lidocaine infusions every 2 weeks (2000 units) so the pain only really bothers me when I am doing nothing, mind over matter sort of thing.

I do not see my specialists for another 3-1/2 weeks and I am worried about what they are going to do to be able to fix my knee. He did my other knee last year and no problem, it is working great! I think there is a lot of scar tissue already as behind my knee is hurting now as well and is "tight" back there. I do have some brusing that comes and goes.

Any suggestions? Thank you
