Topic Title: Fixed gear biking bad for knees?

<p>It's interesting how pretty much anything can be bad for your body if it's done wrong. Biking is supposed to be one of the safest forms of exercise for the knees, and yet using the wrong bike can harm the knees.</p>
<p>However, realizing that kind of sobers you up and helps you to realize that you need to make sure to have the proper gear for the sport/recreational activity you are doing. It also makes it important to learn the right ways to do things, else you could end up with an injury.</p>

Hello, I riding a brakeless fixed gear bike on a daily basis. I enjoy it because it is way more aggressive and more fun to ride than a geared bike with brakes. I just worry about the effects on my knees.
