<p>For those that play tennis, your knees really take a pounding every time you're on the court. </p>
<p>All of your ligaments are at risk of being damaged, though it's the ACL and MCL that really take the brunt of it all. There is some risk of damage to the LCL (lateral collateral ligament) and PCL (posterior cruciate ligament), but the ACL and MCL are the ones most at risk.</p>
<p>There's also a real chance that you'll tear your meniscus - the cartilage in your knees - if you twist or pivot too sharply.</p>
<p>Don't forget about chondromalacia, a softening of the underside of your kneecap. </p>

I'm 12 years post op, but I remember that pain. I stretched out the percocet and vicodin for about 1 or 1.5 weeks I think. It prevented pain, but I couldn't poop for a week.  Maybe they can ...
