Topic Title: Knee Injuries Worse with Long or Short Boards

<p>Which type of board is less likely to cause injuries: long or short boards?</p>
<p>I know a lot of short boarders have injuries, but they come from trauma rather than overuse. All those ollies, kickflips, and other tricks can be hard on the knees, and I know most knees can take quite a brutal beating on those stair jumps - and that's just the ones that they land.</p>
<p>With long boarding, there's a lot less impact, but there's a consistent strain on the knees. There's much more leaning forward and backwards, so the knees are more likely to develop problems like tendonitis.</p>
<p>Which do you think is better for your knees?</p>
